Sparks the Rescue is a five-member American rock band from Maine. They formed when members of three high school bands Pozer, Short of April and Two Girls Later converged.[1] Their debut EP Stumbling Skyward was released independently in 2005 with McAllister and O'Connell sharing main vocal duties. The band released the Hey, Mr. Allure EP in 2006, which saw the addition of lead vocalist Alex Roy. On February 6, 2007, Sparks the Rescue released their junior EP The Secrets We Can't Keep after signing to Double Blind Music.[2] This release saw the departure of their keyboardist. STR officially released their debut full-length album Eyes to the Sun on May 5, 2009 on Fearless Records (the album was previously released October 7, 2008 on Double Blind Music). The album was produced by Jonathan Wyman of Halo Studios in Westbrook, ME.

kellin quinn

Kellin Quinn was born on a Thursday.
He weighed 2 pounds (and is now only 165 pounds, but that doesn’t matter. Whats important is where the music began).

“I started singing as far back as I can remember.”, Kellin exclaimed. As far as taking music serious… Well, it’s an ever growing journey. “I don’t think I will have truly “accomplished” music until I have loved my life. Not until I’m old, wrinkled and grey will I stop trying to progress in getting better.”

kenneth nixon

Formed in 2005 in White House, TN, Framing Hanley initially played a blend of post-grunge and stylish hard rock under the name Embers Fade. High-school friends Chris Vest (drums) and Luke McDuffe (bass) met vocalist Kenneth Nixon upon entering college, while guitarists Brandon Wooten and Tim Huskinson joined the lineup soon after. Embers Fade retreated to Vest's basement to write songs and create demo records, which they later used to solicit help from former Creed bassist Brett Hestla. Impressed with the band's sound, Hestla served as an early mentor and helped nurture the musicians' songwriting. More good luck came in 2007 as the band inked a contract with Silent Majority Group, an independent label based in Florida.

After adopting a new name that paid tribute to Ashley Hanley, a close friend who had died in a car accident in late 2006, Framing Hanley retreated to the studio to record The Moment in six short weeks. Taking its cues from the likes of 30 Seconds to Mars and 3 Doors Down, the debut album melded ballads with post-grunge anthems; it also won support from outlets like Sirius Radio, which helped boost the band's profile. Huskinson exited the band in 2008 and was replaced by guitarist Ryan Belcher, who joined just in time to record a cover version of Lil Wayne's "Lollipop." Retooling the rapper's risqué song with hard-edged vocals and heavy guitars, the band soon logged over a million plays on /MySpace with the tune, which was released as a single in October 2008. tarcy thomason

It was just announced yesterday that Artist Vs Poet vocalist Tarcy Thomason would be leaving the band, in addition to drummer Joe Westbrook. It has left many questions unanswered, but Thomason as written an official statement which can be read below.

There is not an easy way for me to start this… This is to anyone who has ever supported me, or Artist Vs Poet. First of all… I truly believe that i’ve come to know, and become friends with, some of the most genuine fans ever. And that is why this is so hard for me to say:

Shortly after the Fearless Friends tour i made the decision to part ways with Artist Vs Poet, i know… I got to the point before i explained myself, well here it is folks. I made my dream come true and married my best friend Heather early last year smile and also had my first born child Lennon Cody Thomason. This has been the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me, just seeing my wife and baby boy everyday means the world to me, which is why i had to make the decision to stay at home for good. Quitting something that was my life for so many years, meeting such amazing people like (to name a few) Canada, Devin, Brooke, Amanduhhhh, Maddie, Brittni, Laura, Fat Kat, Laura  not to mention my new family that i had the pleasure of touring with, and the best label out there, Fearless Records, has has been hard for me…. but i gained so much more, there is no way i could put into words how happy i am. I could not be any more lucky to have the family that i have.

On that note i want nothing but the best for Joe Kirkland and Jason Dean continuing with Artist Vs Poet. I love those guys and hope nothing but the best for them!
In no way, shape, or form done with music. If you would like to keep in touch with me, my family, and new beginnings, stay tuned. smile

jeremy mckinnon

Jeremy McKinnon was born on February 9, 1988 and he is a hockey player.
McKinnon started his professional career as a hockey player with the 'Huntsville Otters' team in 2006.McKinnon is famous for his career in the National Hockey League.A Day to Remember is a band that combines metalcore and pop punk from Ocala, Florida, United States formed in 2003. Their music generally consists of growled verses, clean pop-punk style choruses and breakdowns.Early years (2003-2006)After all playing in different bands in the Ocala music scene, singer Jeremy McKinnon, guitarists Neil Westfall and Tom Denney, bassist Joshua Woodard, and drummer Bobby Scruggs came together in 2003. Soon after, the band embarked on a “DIY” tour, playing well over 200 shows, making a name for themselves. They were signed to Indianola Records, from which they recorded their first full length, titled And Their Name Was Treason in May 2005. The album sold 8,000 copies on word of mouth alone, but the band felt that bigger and better things were to come. “A friend of mine said he had the AIM screenname of someone at Victory Records,” Woodard said. “I didn’t believe him, but I still started communicating with the guy. We IM’ed back and forth for about six months, and it happened that we were playing with the band On The Last Day in a town outside of Chicago—and this guy was going to be there filming it. It was our first time we ever played in Illinois, yet the 50-60 kids there were singing along to our tunes like they’d been fans all their lives.
Victory Records (2007-present)Soon after signing with Victory, the band with their new drummer Alex Shellnutt went into Zing Studios to record their second full length. The album, titled For Those Who Have Heart was released in January 2007 on Victory Records and peaked at #17 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart and #43 on the Top Independent Albums chart. On September 24, 2007, they put a cover of Kelly Clarkson’s hit single, “Since U Been Gone” on their MySpace. This was later featured on the re-release of For Those Who Have Heart, released in February 2008.
A Day to Remember toured the United Kingdom for the first time ever in January 2008, and were later nominated for “Best International Newcomer” at the 2008 Kerrang! Awards,[2] but lost to Black Tide.[3] Afterwards, the band had a lengthy tour opening for Silverstein along with The Devil Wears Prada, and Protest the Hero (who dropped off the tour and were replaced by A Static Lullaby). They then played The Bamboozle Left on April 6 at the Verizon Amphitheater in Irvine, California, one of the two days at the 2008 Bamboozle Festival in East Rutherford, New Jersey on May 3 and 4, as well as the Download Festival in June, and the 2008 Vans Warped Tour. Before playing the Download Festival, they toured the UK with The Devil Wears Prada and Alesana on the Road To Download Tour. In mid 2008, the band played all the U.S. dates of the “Easycore Tour” along with New Found Glory, Four Year Strong, Crime in Stereo and International Superheroes of Hardcore.

A remixed and remastered version of their first album, And Their Name Was Treason, titled Old Record, was released on October 28, 2008 through Victory Records. In December 2008, A Day to Remember toured Australia with Parkway Drive, Suicide Silence, The Acacia Strain and Confession. That month, the band also finished the recording their third studio album, Homesick. It was released on February 2, 2009 in Europe and February 3, 2009 in the United States and placed at #21 on Billboard’s Top 200 Listings and at #1 on Top Independent Albums. It was additionally featured in Rolling Stone’s “Top 40 Albums” that month, hitting number 21. Following two sold-out UK tours, A Day to Remember went on a European tour in February 2009, with the leg of the tour that took the band to Germany for the first time supported by For The Fallen Dreams and Kenai.A Day to Remember was scheduled to tour the United States from March to May 2009 with The Devil Wears Prada, Sky Eats Airplane and Emarosa. Prior to the tour, Tom Denney broke his wrist; filling in for him is Kevin Skaff formerly of Four Letter Lie. They also toured the UK with For The Fallen Dreams and Azriel. They are also scheduled to play all dates of Warped Tour 2009, to play at Download Festival 2009, to tour Asia, Australia and New Zealand in August and September, and support Bring Me The Horizon on their October 2009 tour of the United Kingdom along with August Burns Red. The band also contributed a track to Punk Goes Pop 2 record from Fearless Records, covering The Fray’s Over My Head (Cable Car).

On June 2, 2009, the band announced that Tom Denney had left the band. The band stated that Denney left because he wants to focus on his marriage, a family, and his recording studio. Tom has been noted for recording such bands as The Starlight Getaway, Dang were on fire, as well as a number of solo acts. However, he will remain a part of the writing process. His official replacement is Kevin Skaff, formerly of Four Letter Lie.

anissa rodriguez

Formed in 2004 by sisters Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez, Arizona's Eyes Set to Kill set out to create their own take on the screamo genre. To fill out the lineup, vocalist and guitarist Alexia Rodriguez and bassist Anissa Rodriguez recruited vocalist and synth player Brandon Anderson, guitarist Greg Kerwin, and drummer Caleb Clifton. The group combines the driving emotion of Thursday and Thrice with technical hardcore reminiscent of Walls of Jericho and Poison the Well. The result is a fusion of the heavy and the melodic, with Alexia Rodriguez's vocals soaring high over the thunder of chugging guitars and Anderson's tortured screaming, creating a sound that expands the boundaries of the genre, moving away from the screamo blueprint. The year 2006 was a busy one, with the group self-releasing the EP When the Silence Is Broken the Night Is Torn as well as playing dates on the Vans Warped Tour. In 2008 the band released its full-length debut, Reach, on Breaksilence Records, and set out on a nationwide tour in support of Otep. Gregory Heaney, Rovi.

derek sanders

It doesn't happen very often, but every once in a while a band comes along who have crafted a sound that's so unique it's hard to believe they haven't been playing together for decades. For the past four years, the members of Tallahassee, Florida's Mayday Parade--vocalist/keyboardist Derek Sanders, bassist Jeremy Lezno, guitarists Alex Garcia and Brooks Betts and drummer Jake Bundrick--have been perfecting their unique brand of pop-inflected punk rock, a process that is currently culminating with the release of their major-label debut Anywhere But Here. "We really just wanted to follow our own path on this record and not worry about if we fit in anywhere," Bundrick explains. "We were striving to make a record that meshed together really well and that was actually an album in the sense that all the songs sound different, but are working together toward a common theme."

In order to accomplish this the band decided to work with acclaimed producer David Bendeth (Paramore, Underoath), who proved to be the perfect person to capture the inherent energy and enthusiasm of these eleven tracks. "It was a totally new experience going in and doing a record with someone like David Bendeth, but I really feel like these songs are much more structured than anything we've done in the past," Garcia explains. In fact the biggest challenge while making Anywhere But Here seems to have been Mayday Parade's monumental task of determining which of the 50-odd songs they'd written over the past few years would make the cut. "Some of the songs we all agreed on, but other ones were more difficult because people had different tracks that they loved and it was hard to narrow it down," Sanders elaborates, adding that the band wrote many of these tracks during last year's tour with All Time Low. "We just ended up taking a vote and I think we chose the right songs."

Correspondingly Anywhere But Here shows how versatile Mayday Parade are, a fact that has endeared the band to fans all over the world and helped them forge their own niche in the rock community. "For me 'Kids In Love' is about the summer I turned 17 and I felt like I could take on the world," Sanders explains when asked about the album's infectious opener, a sentiment which is communicated via an impossibly catchy chorus. While Anywhere But Here is teeming with soaring and instantly accessible anthems like "Anywhere But Here" and "Get Up" which showcase Mayday Parade's knack for crafting hooks, it also features heartfelt ballads such as "Save Your Heart" and melodic midtempo tracks like "Bruised and Scarred" that reveal how much the band have grown since their 2006 debut A Lesson In Romantics and also prove that when it comes to Mayday Parade, songwriting takes precedence over gimmicks or fleeting fashions. "That's what I love about what we're doing," Bundrick elaborates when asked how he feels about the fact that the band haven't confined their music to just one scene or genre, "we're able to jump in and play with everyone from pop music to heavier rock bands and be able to gain all different kinds of new fans." Lenzo concurs, adding "I'm proud to be in a band that can reach out to so many different people and I really think that's always been a defining aspect of Mayday Parade since we started out."

Additionally Anywhere But Here sees the band exploring new sonic territory on tracks like the stripped-down "I Swear This Time I Mean It" or dance floor-friendly rocker "Center Of Attention. "That song was a little more dance-oriented and poppy than anything else we've ever done because we wanted to reach outside the box a little bit and see how it would turn out," Bundrick says about the latter track. "It still has the same Mayday Parade storyline, but the song itself has an energy that's a little different." The album's first single "The Silence" also showcases another side to this upbeat group of guys that may surprise some of their fans in a positive way. "'The Silence' is a darker one," he continues. "It's different from old Mayday stuff, so it's a little scary that it's the first song people are going to hear, but majority of the people that I've showed it to love the song and say it's the best thing we've ever done--and I hope other people feel that way, too."

"I can't force myself to write, it has to come naturally," Sanders responds when asked how he came up with lyrics this time around. "A lot of times it will come when I least expect it, like when I'm riding in the car or while I'm just hanging out at my house at three in the morning; I'll just sit down and it will all come out." As usual, the lyrics on Anywhere But Here are largely autobiographical, but they're written in a way that's ambiguous enough for listeners to relate to with ease. "A lot of the songs are about relationships whether that's involving girlfriends or friends," he continues. "There are a lot of sacrifices you have to make to in order to get to where we are today as a band; I've lost a lot of friends, but that's the way it goes," he summarizes, adding that he wouldn't take back a minute of the journey. "My lyrics are always about what we're going through at the time and the last few years have definitely been a huge rollercoaster ride for everyone in this band."

When it comes to the band's expectations about Anywhere But Here they'd prefer to let the music speak for itself. "I'm not really sure my expectations are for this album, but I do know that is the best thing we've ever done."

sierra kusterbeck

For some people creating music is a choice, but for others it’s what they were born to do. VersaEmerge clearly fit into the latter camp.
VersaEmerge was formed by drummer Anthony Martone and guitarist/vocalist Blake Harnage back when both members were in high school. Although the duo instantly experienced regional success selling out their first ever gig and gaining critical acclaim in their local music scene, it wasn’t until the band solidified their line-up—which currently includes guitarist Jerry Pierce, vocalist Sierra Kusterbeck and bassist Devin Ingelido—that things really started happening for this dedicated group of teenagers. “When Sierra first tried out for the band we didn’t know what to expect,” Harnage explains, adding that the then sixteen-year-old female vocalist lied about her age in order to land an audition. “She’s always been amazingly talented, but now she’s learning how to use that talent to its full potential.”

While most of us were studying for tests and trying to sneak into R-Rated movies, VersaEmerge were busy crafting a brilliant EP of original material called Perceptions that attracted the attention of Fueled By Ramen. It’s not difficult to see why: Songs like the midtempo rocker “Clocks” showcase the band’s ability to create multi-layered sonic textures that serve as the perfect backdrop for Kusterbeck’s powerful vocals while melodic anthems like “Past Praying For” add a welcome layer of depth and musicianship to the typical pop-punk paradigm. In addition to listening to everything from Björk to Thrice during their free time, the band have toured with artists in nearly every genre and taken a little bit from each of these varied experiences in order to come up with something completely unique and unprecedented when it comes to their own music.

“We’ve gone on tour with everyone from dance-pop to metal bands,” Harnage explains with a laugh. “I guess people seem to think that we can play with pretty much anyone.” The band will soon be touring with We The Kings and Chiodos’ Craig Owens. More recently the band spent time refining their new material and releasing their debut EP for Fueled By Ramen with James Paul Wisner (New Found Glory, Underoath). “I think we’re getting closer to finding our sound,” Harnage explains when asked about the band’s yet-to-be-released material. “It’s dark and eerie, but at the same time it’s powerful and something that people can really relate to.”

Ultimately VersaEmerge are just excited to hit the road and get their music out to people on a larger scale than ever before—and they realize that right now is finally their chance to make that dream a reality. “We know that this is going to be the best year of our lives,” says Martone, “and it’s going to be the hardest working year of our lives, too.” When you consider the palpable excitement showcased by fans at the band’s incendiary live performances and the positive feedback from blogs and Web sites all over the world, it’s difficult to imagine how 2009 couldn’t be the year that VersaEmerge will become the breakout band that everyone will be talking about. “We’re just thankful to have this opportunity,” Harnage acknowledges. “There’s no way that we’re going to blow it.”

Ronnie Radke's

It all started when Max was being threaten by these people and of course Ronnie and Max known each for like nine damn years. Ronnie and Max are like brothers therefore when Ronnie found out that Max was being threaten he attended this fist fight. Ronnie was also being threaten by these haters.Well, when he was at the scene of the fist fight Ronnie had only four people in his group including himself. The other group had TWELVE people big difference right?!!When he got there some guy took out a GUN and shot it and somebody in Ronnie group took the gun from the that person and three more shot were shot. So technically it was Self Defense how the hell does a fist fight go to a gun fight. The other group took out a weapon first so if Ronnie fought it was self defense. Well, okay he got probation for his actions which in my opinion was self defence. Its funny he didnt even kill anybody yet he got most of blame... how ridiculous.Well when he had probation Max offer him drugs(Max did drugs with Ronnie) and once cops knew that Ronnie was taking drugs Max just happen to throw him off the band. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm what friend right...... not!Its really funny Max was taking drugs and nothing happen to him and everything started with Max being threaten. Instead of i dont helping Ronnie he kicks him out the band. Wow. Even after Ronnie fought for him.Max backstabbed him to the next level wait i take that back there no level for what he did. Now Craig is the lead singer but wow he was way better in Bless the Fall. I dont about you but Craig changed his appearance dramatically i mean he dresses like Ronnie dude. He would never be Ronnie, look at him in bless the fall and look at him now. Oh and Omar quit the band not because of Ronnie but because of Max punched him on his face and and threaten to kill him.

Shawn Milke

Shawn Milke: vocals, guitar, piano
The crowd is still screaming at a sold out show in Anaheim, California as the sweetcore phenomenon known as Alesana exits the stage.

"I don't think I’ll ever get used to this," says frontman Dennis Lee as he tips back the last swallow of his water bottle. "Seeing kids go crazy like that thousands of miles away from home reminds me that I have the best job in the world. Oh, and that wearing cowboy boots on stage probably isn't the best idea in the world...but it simply must be done." Crowd response like this is something that the six-piece from Raleigh, North Carolina is quickly becoming accustomed to all over the country and other parts of the world: and this is only the beginning.

The band's debut full length record On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax, in stores nationwide on March 20th, 2007, is built around a dynamic, emotionally charged, three guitar, three vocal attack. "We're all about dynamics, both musically and vocally," says vocalist/guitarist Shawn Milke about why the band elected to employ three guitarists and three vocalists. "We don't try to be like anyone else or to be something we're not. By having six members we are able to pull off the same guitar and vocal harmonies in a live setting that we have on the record."

Forming in November of 2004, Alesana has always focused a great deal of their attention on having an energetic and memorable live show. The raw, honest intensity of the band's performance on stage has played a huge role in their growing popularity over the last year. "Our music is always fun," says drummer Jeremy Bryan. "There isn't a single night on tour that I don't have a blast on stage. We give everything we have each and every night and it is a great feeling to see that same energy increasingly coming back from the crowd everywhere we go...and always play 'til you puke." Having already completed tours with Drop Dead Gorgeous and Greeley Estates in 2006, the band is ready to continue hitting the road hard and strong. At the start of 2007, Alesana already has over 200 shows booked including their first headlining tour they’ve sold-out shows in Detroit MI, Anaheim CA, New York, and Texas. Starting in March ’07 they will support Haste The Day and From Autumn to Ashes, and then in June and July a spot on the first half of the 2007 Vans Warped Tour.

The Alesana love has even begun to spread down below the border. The band did their first ever Mexican tour in October 2006 and played to the largest, craziest crowds in the bands short history. "It felt like a dream when we were there," says guitarist Patrick Thompson. "I was in total disbelief of what was happening. The Mexican fans are so passionate and truly excited that I found myself forgetting that it was even us they were screaming for." Upon arriving at shows the band had to be escorted by security to avoid being swarmed by the over 500 fans waiting in line nearly six hours before the doors would even be open for the show. Even more insanity is expected during their second Mexican tour scheduled to kick off on February 20th, 2007.

In June of 2005, Alesana released their debut EP Try This With Your Eyes Closed on Tragic Hero Records. After selling nearly 3,000 copies of the EP at shows and online, the band hit the studio with producer Kit Walters to record their first full length record On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax. After nearly two months of pre-production and two solid weeks in the studio, the band felt that they had finally locked up the exact sound that they were striving to achieve. The record did a soft release which included being sold at smartpunk.com where it remained in the top 10 for six months running. The success of the record prompted Fearless Records to come check out the band live near their headquarters in California. Less than one month later, the band was signed to their new label. "We feel very at home with Fearless," says guitarist/vocalist Adam Ferguson. "I feel like I can pick up the phone anytime and call anyone on the entire staff. Plus, with a smaller roster of bands than some of the other labels out there, it feels more like family." Bassist Steven Tomany adds, "Our success is their success and vice versa. We don't feel like all of the pressure is on us to do this by ourselves because Fearless is working just as hard as we are with the record. Its a great feeling to have such good people in your corner." Fearless is re-releasing On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax as an enhanced disc with plenty of extras including all new artwork, two bonus tracks, four live videos from a performance in San Antonio, Texas, and a 20-minute interview with the band.

Alesana will be shooting their first music video with producer Jeremy Jackson at the end of March. The debut single Ambrosia finds the band at their lyrical best. "Shawn and I write all of our lyrics together, completely 50/50," says Dennis. "We like to tell stories from two different perspectives in every song, constantly intertwining both points of view. It creates an almost 'stream of conscience' effect where its hard to tell where one side ends and the other begins." Shawn adds, "Writing with Dennis makes the songs that much more fun for me because we are both writing the same story but from different conclusions. In Ambrosia, for example, we are telling the story of a man who has been given a sort of divine gift. Dennis is singing about his obsession with the power his new gift has given him, while I sing about the simpler things of life and love that he has left behind in spite of it." A complex story-telling lyrical style is what listeners can expect to find all throughout On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax.

2007 is shaping up to be the year that Alesana breaks completely into the scene. With a vigorous touring schedule, a national record release, and a rapidly growing and strongly dedicated fan base, the band is looking to just keep working as hard as they've been accustomed to for the past two years. "Touring and playing shows for the fans is what its all about," says Shawn. "We've made some great friends and had the privilege of sharing the stage with not only awesome bands, but good guys as well. It is a really special thing when you can share your passion and art with people everyday for a living. There isn't a minute that goes by that we are not eternally grateful for the opportunities we've been given."

With the sincerity of their lyrics, the energy of their music, and the passion of their live show, there is no doubt that Alesana will fight its way into your stereos and into your hearts.

And when asked what kind of toast he would like with his breakfast, frontman Dennis Lee simply states, "Buttered."

Cassadee Pope

Cassadee Blake Pope (born August 28, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter and musician and the lead vocalist of the pop punk band Hey Monday. In 2004 Pope started singing in local bands. She began as a singer in the award-winning St. Ann School Jazz Band while in middle school in West Palm Beach. While in high school in Wellington, Florida, Pope formed the band Blake (titled after her middle name) with good friend Mike Gentile. The project disbanded before being signed. In 2008, she and Gentile then, with Alex Lipshaw, Michael "Jersey" Moriaty, and Elliot James, founded the pop punk band Hey Monday. At the end of 2009, Pope confirmed via her Twitter that Elliot James had departed the band. She appeared in Fall Out Boy's video for "America's Suitehearts", from their 2008 album Folie à Deux. In the video, Pope plays a girl wearing large glasses talking by the telephone who is then kidnapped. Hayley Williams

Hayley Nichole Williams[1][2] (born December 27, 1988)[3] is an American rock singer, songwriter and the lead vocalist[4] of the band Paramore. In 2002, at the age of 13, Williams moved from her hometown, Meridian, Mississippi, to Franklin, Tennessee, where she met former band members Josh Farro and Zac Farro in school.[4][5] Shortly after arriving, she began taking vocal lessons with Brett Manning.[6] While still in school, she tried out for a local funk cover band called The Factory where she met Jeremy Davis.[5][7]

Williams was discovered in 2003 by managers Dave Steunebrink and Richard Williams who signed the 14-year-old to a production deal.[8] According to former manager Jeff Hanson in an interview with HitQuarters, at the time she was writing pop songs with top songwriters in Nashville. Williams was introduced to Atlantic Records A&R Tom Storms through Richard's attorneys Jim Zumwalt and Kent Marcus, and then signed to the label by Jason Flom. The label's original plan for their new artist was to make her a solo pop artist but Williams objected to this, saying that she wanted to be part of a band and play 'non-alternative rock' music. Atlantic decided to go along with her wishes and she then formed Paramore with Josh Farro, Zac Farro, and Jeremy Davis.[8]

The music of Paramore was originally supposed to come out on Atlantic Records but the label's marketing department decided it would be better for the image of the band to not have them attached to a huge label. They instead released their music through a cooler niche label in Fueled by Ramen.[8]

In 2007, Williams appeared in the music video for "Kiss Me" by New Found Glory.[9]

In the 2007 Kerrang! Readers' Poll she finished second to Evanescence's Amy Lee in the "Sexiest Female" category,[10] going on to win the first place spot for "Sexiest Female" a year later in the 2008 poll,[11] and again in the 2009 poll. She also appears as a playable character in the video game Guitar Hero World Tour.

Williams wrote and recorded the song "Teenagers", which was featured in the soundtrack for the film Jennifer's Body. After the release of "Teenagers", Williams stated that she had no plans to establish herself as a solo artist.[12] In 2010, she appeared on the tracks "Airplanes" and "Airplanes (Part II)" from alternative rapper B.o.B's debut album, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray.[13] "Airplanes", later released as a single, peaked within the top ten in nineteen countries, including number one peak positions in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

Alex gaskarth

“Hey kid you’ve got a lot of potential but I think it’s time to move up,” are the first words you hear on The Party Scene (Emerald Moon Records), the debut full length from pop punk powerhouse ALL TIME LOW. When it comes to this band no statement could ring anymore true. As Absolutepunk.net says, “ALL TIME LOW has the potential to be the next Cartel or The Academy Is….Say hello to your new favorite pop punk band.”

Hailing from the suburbs of Baltimore, MD the group made up of singer/guitarist Alex Gaskarth, guitarist Jack Barakat, bassist Zack Merrick, and drummer Rian Dawson simply set out to make music people appreciated and what they found was something truly special. With unforgettable melodies, explosive guitar hooks, and relentlessly driving rhythms the message in their music is loud and clear, “We’re here and we’re here to stay”.

At the ripe old ages of seventeen and still in high school the band has already recorded their debut EP and their first full length The Party Scene was released in August. Their relentless DIY attitude and work ethic has made the record a near permanent fixture in the Smartpunk Top 20 sales list without the aid of a national distributor. “This is our life,” Alex says. “There is nothing else we see ourselves doing and we’re willing to do anything and everything to get where we want to be.” That means daily four hour practices and weekends spent driving across the country playing for anyone who will listen.

“We love recording but being a good live band is what we’ve really worked so hard on,” Jack explains. “We’ve had the chance to play with a lot of amazing bands and we’ve learned so many things that we’ve been able to incorporate into our show.” ALL TIME LOW plays to packed houses at Maryland’s biggest venues such as The Recher Theatre and The Ottobar, and traveled all over the country in the summer of 2005. They’ve shared the stage with national headliners such as Motion City Soundtrack, Acceptance, The Early November, The Receiving End of Sirens, The Academy Is…, Plain White T’s, Spitalfied, and many more.

With so many accomplishments at such a young age the natural reaction is to be content with what you’ve achieved, but not with this group. “Put up or Shut Up, We’re not wasting time again,” comes roaring out of Alex’s mouth on the song Breakout, Breakout. It’s a defiant statement. It’s a statement of confidence, desire, and singlemindedness that’s guaranteed to take ALL TIME LOW as high as they want to go.
