Told was born February 13, 1981 in Scarborough Ontario. He is an Aquarius and currently resides in Oakville, Ontario. Shane has been playing and writing music for 16 years. One of his early bands was called Jerk Circus. His aspiration for starting his music career was hearing Metallica's "Black Album". His hobbies consist of poker, basketball, gambling, football, Sudoku, chess, bowling, working out, sports, movies, writing and playing music.Shane has stated his favourite bands are: NOFX, Slayer, Grade, The Beatles, Lifetime, Pedro the Lion, Lagwagon, Brand New, Saves The Day, Black Sabbath, Propagandhi, Metallica (pre '96). His favourite movies consist of: Point Break, Baseketball, Fight Club, the Kevin Smith movies, Office Space, Waiting..., Toy Soldiers, Menace II Society, Terminator 2, The Godfather and The Godfather Part II, Boyz N the Hood, Wayne's World, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, A History of Violence, The Lord of the Rings. Also, his favourite television shows are: The Sopranos, Entourage, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Arrested Development, The O.C., Survivor, Seinfeld, Melrose Place and Las Vegas.Shane has stated in the future he wishes to continue playing music, working on his label, get married, have kids, and go back to school. His proudest life achievement is having music as a career. He has been playing music for 16 years. Shane is vegan, and has been vegetarian since he was 18. His favorite foods include Italian, Thai, Japanese, and Mediterranean.
